Hike the wild wilderness of the upper Red Deer River region with its breathtaking beauty. Ya Ha Tinda Range, Scalp Creek, Eagle Lake, Big Horn Falls, Sheep Creek, Burnt Timber, Panther Valley, Four Corners of Dormer, J1 Hill and more trails in this untapped back country. We provide all meals, accommodation, guides and transportation to and from the trail heads.

This trip is a Must if you would like to experience the Rockies on foot.

• Starting with short hikes we will explore Banff, Johnson Canyon and Lake Louise, finishing with a naturalist hike to the Columbia Ice Fields.

• With a short hike to Ram Falls (shown above) continuing to James River to hike through James Pass to Frontier Town.

• Following day embark on a 4 day horse assisted hike. See the Ya Ha Tinda Valley across to Scalp Valley up to Tomahawk Mountain, over the alpine terrain. After this 60 KM hiking excursion you will find yourself back at Frontier town for a full day of rest and relaxation.

• Two more days of hiking. Take a hike to the top of Gap Mountain to view the surrounding valley and see the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch Plains.

• To cap off the hiking experience we will take you for two days enjoying the challenge and excitement of Whitewater Rafting.

• After your good-byes just pictures and memories will remain until next time.
